This week is about a series of photos taken in Madrid in summer of last year. The place is an art building located near the center of the city which name I could never learn or memorize. I found the main attractive of the building was it’s stairs. A repetition that gives rhythm to the architecture of the arts center it’s what caught my attention. Also, the people I went with.

If you’ve seen my previous posts, you’ll find yourself familiar with Gabo, kinder garten friend.

Then there is his beloved Isa, a very nice girl who is very into ballet. There wasn’t then any surprise when we caught her looking at the dancing lessons classroom. Inspiring.

As a closure I’d like to dedicate the last post photo to Lily, a friend that has put so many thoughts in my mind as of what art means and how to practice it, use it as a fun tool that has defined myself in the categories of photography. Thank you missy, a big hug for you.

De vuelta en Madrid, me di a la tarea de arreglar el viaje a la siguiente ciudad, entonces me fui a una central de trenes

Ahí me quedé un buen rato esperando mi turno (para comprar un boleto de tren que creo al final perdí) y me seguí paseando por ahí:

A lo lejos se veía ese edificio, y ya de más cerca descubrí la clásica foto:

Con la cual no quedé conforme, y una semana después volví y la corregí:

Ambas idas fueron solo. Ir con gente a los lugares sirve para pasársela suave, entretenerse, pero ir sólo te deja tiempo para tomar la foto que quieras, hasta que salga, y después quedarte pensando en los carros, o en la casualidad de estar ahí, lejos de cualquier cosa conocida, completo extranjero.

De regalo, una más, en la Plaza Mayor, otro día, otra hora, en compañía.

Después regresé a todos estos lugares, pero como la cosa va cronológica, nos vemos después.

UPDATE: Now I do more.

Then I fired iTunes and looked for a nice song to write it. Found Me and Mia, from Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, but that wasn’t what I was looking for. I then went to a playlist I found on the web last year. Pearl and the Puppets was in that list and the song chosen to appear was Because I Do.

Funny its not about her, its about him, the little drawing guy. And I think this poster is incorrect, is not even about love. I think its mostly about what happens in love, to a boy, when his couple knows she can do what she wants, or when she forgets she has to circle him too in her map.

I looked and found Chairlift – Bruises in the same playlist.

It’s obvious by now that a boy can’t get a girl, can’t understand what she’s thinking/going through, but that by no means tells us that she shouldn’t help him. That by no means tells us she should forget about him, the one helping.

I didn’t like her as intended by the movie, she has great eyes but misses the spanish concept of:

“No se qué que qué sé yo.”

Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination.
